The words FREE and QUALITY don’t always go hand-in-hand. However, I think you’ll find that those two words are a perfect description for the freebies below. If you haven’t already, go grab the HARMOR PRESET PACK VOL. 1, 10 GRANULAR CINEMATIC PADS, and 5 GRANULAR DRONE PADS.
I’ve just released Vol. 1 of my new Harmor preset pack and it contains:
3 – Arps
6 – Bass
3 – FX
6 – Lead
6 – Pads
10 – Plucks
23 – Synths
FOR IMAGE-LINE HARMOR VST V12.3 AND UP
Although the demo only showcases 19 sounds, these 57 presets cover a lot of territory including FUTURE BASS to DOWNTEMPO and everything in between. I’ve even included several lo-fi synths that sound very organic. There are even a few presets that are perfectly suited for video game tracks. Trance, Progressive, Electro, you are covered.
Ah, the cherished 3-day weekend! My day job doesn’t allow for many days off, so when a 3-day weekend rolls around it is a perfect time to relax and try to work on some new music. Memorial Day weekend has always been one of my favorite times of the year, not just because of the long weekend, but because it is a time for our family to get together and socialize over a great meal and catch up with each other’s lives. My dad was a veteran of the Navy as well, so we take this time to remember him (I miss you dad) and to remember those who have given so much.
as i was sitting and listening to music last night, it occurred to me that there are 5 key tracks that totally changed my perception of what i thought could be conveyed through electronic music. in fact, these are the very tracks that pulled me out of the mundane, monotonous hell that EDM had become and renewed my interest in making electronic music again.
i hope you find the same inspiration in these tracks that i have.
1.【sakuraburst】「data corruption symphony」
「data corruption symphony」is the holy grail of sound design. it’s a twisted auditory maze of beats, sounds, and melodies that all somehow work together perfectly. from delicate chords and melodies to the hardest of drops, and foley aplenty; this track has it all.
before i get too deep into this, let me preface this by saying that the ethereal existence (ep) is a very short two-song ep and is something I wanted to release as a way to dip my toes back into the musical waters. i’ve not really written anything new in about 18 months, mostly because of hectic work schedules (full time programmer) and the general bs that life can throw at you.
anyway, i finally started sitting down again and making music… bought a few new vst synths and other plugins, and really started feeling inspired again. however, one thing was very evident when I started writing and producing again; i simply had lost all of my will to produce anything remotely EDM related. i’m certainly not judging anyone else for making it or anything of the sort… but i knew… i just wasn’t feeling it anymore.
